Recommended for Rider’s Meetings
Jul 5th, 2010Legal notice: As we all know motocross is an extremely-hazardous activity that can and sometimes does result in serious bodily injuries, including total paralysis, and death. It is your responsibility as a rider and or parent to review the track and all associated obstacles and hazards and then choose to assume the risks associated with the sport or not. Motocross tracks, including this one, have jumps, loose soil, rocks, rollers, single jumps, double and triple jumps, table tops, rolling terrain, and many other obstacles. Motocross tracks are built through the woods, fields, hills, rolling terrain, through creeks and ditches. Track surfaces can be hard packed, clay, loamy, sandy, loose rocks or gravel as well as changing conditions throughout the day. There are flagger stands, hay bales, tires, fences, ditches, culverts, irrigation lines, track markers and more that surround tracks. If you feel ANY of these conditions are unsafe for you, don’t ride! You should also be aware that other riders can also become a hazard themselves. By choosing to compete you should be aware that you assume all liability for any or all injuries to you and or damage to your motorcycle, on and off the track, and you agree to waive the right to sue the track owner, promoters, and track officials for the same. If you or your guardian should choose not to accept the risks and liabilities associated with competing on this track, under the conditions present today, it will be our pleasure to provide you a complete refund. See me after the rider’s meeting if you chose not to fully assume all risks associated with competing in this event today.
